Hastings Library Fund Raiser

  Johnny Barnes will sponsor a Hastings Library Fund Raiser Saturday, October 24 at 6:00 p.m. at Johnny’s Kitchen in Hastings.  Enjoy an appetizer of chicken pilau or Menorcan clam chowder for $6.00, and try the dessert made especially for this event.  Then hear about mullet-netting, datil pepper-growing, pilau-eating, rum-running times when Ann Browning Masters reads from her book Floridanos, Menorcans, Cattle-Whip Crackers:  Poetry of St. Augustine.  Recently published by the Florida Historical Society, the book will also be available for purchase.
