Dr. Deeh Israel, educator, and visionary, will speak about the history and future of Fort Mose. She is a member of the Visioning Committee of the Fort Mose Historical Society and is active in the preservation and support of the Fort and communicating the story of its place in the history of slavery and St. Augustine.

Dr. Deeh Israel, educator, and visionary, will speak about the history and future of Fort Mose. She is a member of the Visioning Committee of the Fort Mose Historical Society and is active in the preservation and support of the Fort and communicating the story of its place in the history of slavery and St. Augustine.
Soprano Lisa Lockart is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music and teaches voice privately and at Florida State College. She has appeared in opera, musical theatre, and concert performances across the US and Europe. Since moving to St. Augustine, she has been featured in local productions including the title role on Holst’s Savitri, as soprano soloist in Feel the Sprirt with the St. Augustine Chamber Singers, and as a First Coast Opera Gala Soloist.
Lloyd Reshard is a bass-baritone, poet, and teacher who has recently performed the title role of Figaro in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with Fargo-Moorhead Opera followed by Dr. Dulcamara in John Davies’ Pinocchio, Balthazar in Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Death in Holst’s Savitri with First Coast Opera.
