Joy to the World: Messiah Favorites and Holiday Carols

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. “Joy to the World: Messiah Favorites and Holiday Carols” is presented by the University of North Florida Choral Ensembles under the baton of Dr. Cara Tasher, Director of Choral Studies, with stage direction by Patrick Chiu, Interdisciplinary Artist. In recent years, Herr Chiu’s choral-physical theatres have been injecting innovation and vibrancy into the arts scene.

This event combines popular selections from the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah with timeless holiday carols with which to usher in the season. Audience participation in the singing of your favorite carols at the finale of the concert is welcomed and encouraged. This event at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is family friendly.
