Showcasing jazz through the ages from its African roots to the fusion sounds of today in historic St. Augustine
The final event of the series on April 19, 2019, commemorates Jazz Appreciation Month with a performance by Clarence Herrington of a musical interpretation of songs through the ages at 7 p.m. at the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center. Herrington has been singing most of his life. He was the featured singer in an entertainment show on Miami Beach for a local comedian for five years. He lived in New York and Las Vegas to share his talent. He has also been part of church choirs and male choirs for more than 20 years.
