Main Library Book Sale

Calling all book lovers! The Main Library January Book Sale is just around the corner! The sale features many types of books, including fiction, nonfiction, text, reference, and children’s books, as well as a large selection of special books. Also featured in the sale are DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes and audio books. Everything for sale comes from community donations or materials removed from library holdings. Hardback books are priced at $1.00 and paperback prices range from 10¢ to 50¢. All children’s books are 25¢. Select special books and media items are individually priced at $3.00 and up. Audio books, DVDs, and CDs are priced at $1.00. Please note: the first two hours of the sale, 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Friday, are reserved for members of the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine. Memberships are available for purchase at the door. Scanners are allowed only during public book sale hours. Saturday’s sale and Monday’s $3-a-Bag Sale are open to the public. Come on Monday, the last day of the sale, and help us clear off the tables! During the bag sale, customers can fill a paper grocery bag with books for $3.00. Bags will be provided at the sales desk. The Friends of the Library hold book sales frequently to raise funds and to promote membership. All book sale proceeds support the Main Library’s needs.
