Melissa Bashore is Featured Artist at P.A.St.A. Art Gallery

Come meet Mel Bashore, P.A.St.A. Gallery’s May Featured Artist.  Mel resides in downtown St. Augustine and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  Inspiration for the Elemental/Gold Threads series is drawn from our coastal location and climate change, as well as a lifelong fascination with maps, lines, graphic patterns and repetition of shape and line found in nature.  The water all around us reflects the sun, ripples with ever-changing patterns and holds great power, beauty and chaos.

The show’s opening will coincide with the First Friday Art Walk at P.A.St.A. Art Gallery, 214 Charlotte Street, St. Augustine, from 5:00-9:00 p.m.  Mel will be featured for the entire month of May.  Refreshments will be served, and admission is always free.
