The start of summer evokes the nostalgia of warm nights hearing great music. The St. Augustine Orchestra’s season finale “One Night Only” will kick off Memorial Day Weekend with an orchestral tribute to pop artists of recent decades.
While some artists announced their final tours in 2018, and others are gone, many have left their indelible mark on American culture and music: from Duke Ellington's fabulous arrangements like "Sophisticated Lady" and "Don't Get Around Much Anymore", to the work of superstars like Elton John, The Eagles and Billy Joel who dominated the airwaves for decades.
The audience will visit the "Hotel California", a "Bridge over Troubled Water", feeling "All Shook Up", and we hope everyone will be "Feeling the Love, Tonight" by the end of the concert.
