John and Whitney Spinks, the HGTV Flipping The Block competitors who had to postpone their April Ponte Vedra Forum presentation, have been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 12 at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. They’ll share design and remodeling tips, along with behind-the-scenes secrets from Flipping The Block. The couple will also give away a Pfister Zuri culinary faucet as a door prize.
John and Whitney were one of four teams that lived in their condos while using a $37,500 budget to design, renovate, and prepare the condo for the highest resale value. Together, John, the construction expert, and Whitney, who handled the budget and design concepts, became fan favorites, if not the ultimate winners. Whitney described their time on the show as “one of the hardest, most intense, but also most rewarding things we’ve ever done. We didn’t sleep or eat much—there was simply too much work to do and not ever enough time in each challenge.”
Today they own the Jacksonville based interior design firm, 27 South Design Group. The couple will provide as well as show-off some of their favorite before-and-after photos.
The program starts at 6:30 p.m., and like all FOL programs, it’s free and open to the public.
