Saint Augustine Speaks Open Mic - In Memoriam

The Ancient City Poets will host a community open mic reading on Sunday May 29th from 3:00 to 4:30. Saint Augustine Speaks is an open mic series that offers poets of all skill levels an opportunity to share their poems with a loving and supportive audience. The microphone will be turned on at 3:00 pm and all are encouraged to share their own poems or works from their favorite writers. There will be a Memorial Day theme for this reading in celebration of the May holiday in which we remember our patriotic fallen. Attendees do not have to stick to this theme to share their work. The gatherings are held “renga style” with no emcee or sign-up sheet and end when everyone has had an opportunity to share.
