Southern Culture on the Skids

In early 2015, Southern Culture on the Skids and Fred Schneider of the B-52’s announced the release of their first ever collaborative 12″ remix EP, Party At My Trouse on YepRoc records. One hot week in August 2013, Fred, Rick, Mary and Dave met up at the Kudzu Ranch in rural North Carolina to record an ode to butt shakin’. The result was the “Party at My Trouse” single — initially released as a limited edition 7” for Record Store Day in 2014. Upon release the 7” sold out immediately, so the band and Fred decided to extend the boogie into the night with the new 12″ EP version featuring 5 brand new booty-shakin’, southern-fried, jukin’ remixes.
