St. Augustine Orchestra Season Premiere

The SAO will kick off its 57th season with a set of three musical works intended to be appreciated together.

The 'Symphonic Triptych' will feature the works of three well-known composers: Antonin Dvorak, Gioachino Rossini and Jean Sibelius. The concert is intended to transport our audience to the world of the the Romantic and Victorian eras in Prague and Venice for an evening of delightful music.

What is a triptych? By definition, a triptych is a set of three associated musical works intended to be appreciated together. You'll hear: Dvorak – Symphony #8 in G Major; Rossini – Simiramide Overture; and Sibelius - Valse Triste.
