The SAO will kick off its 57th season with a set of three musical works intended to be appreciated together.
The 'Symphonic Triptych' will feature the works of three well-known composers: Antonin Dvorak, Gioachino Rossini and Jean Sibelius. The concert is intended to transport our audience to the world of the the Romantic and Victorian eras in Prague and Venice for an evening of delightful music.
What is a triptych? By definition, a triptych is a set of three associated musical works intended to be appreciated together. You'll hear: Dvorak – Symphony #8 in G Major; Rossini – Simiramide Overture; and Sibelius - Valse Triste.
ADMISSION INFO
Tickets are available now online through Ticket Leap/the Orchestra's website. Prices are $22 for adults; $12 for students aged 11-17 and free for children 10 and under.
This concert will be held Oct. 12th at 8 p.m. in St. Augustine at the Lightner Museum and repeated on Saturday Oct. 13th in the Orchestra's first public concert in Nocatee at St. Jean Paul II Catholic Church at 1 p.m.
