St. Johns Reads Event: Brown Bag Lunch with Dr. Thomas Graham

As part of February’s St Johns Reads Program, Dr. Thomas Graham, professor emeritus at Flagler College, will bring the fascinating details of the Gilded Age in St. Augustine to life at the Main Library. Dr. Graham will discuss his latest book, Mr. Flagler’s St. Augustine.
Dr. Graham’s work traces oil magnate Henry M. Flagler’s quest to transform the nation’s Oldest City into a highly desirable vacation destination for the rich, eventually expanding his coastal empire to encompass Palm Beach, Miami, Key West, and finally Nassau. Patrons are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy during the presentation. Beverages and snacks will be provided by the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine.
