Threading the Margins: an Art in Public Spaces Exhibition

“Threading the Margins” showcases traditional and contemporary textile art at the St. Johns County Administration Building from September 6th until November 30, 2023, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.

“Threading the Margins” features a range of textile works, including sculptures, quilts, and wall hangings, from seventeen St. Johns County artists. Participating artists include Kathryn Arango, Sherry Buckingham Peck, Susan Cockerham, Gretchen Crawford, Amy Hemphill Dove, Deborah Hossbach, Jenny Keyser, Courtney Krug, An Marshall, Melissa May, Laura Mongiovi, Elizabeth Odiorne, Linda Schultz, Juanelle Strickland Marshall, Diane Thompson Cortese, Laura Towne, and Cindy Wilson.

Free and open to the public.

This Art in Public Spaces exhibition is presented by the St. Johns Cultural Council, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit and the designated local arts agency for St. Johns County, Florida.

The Cultural Council is committed to supporting individual artists and cultural organizations and to ensuring that the lives of St. Johns County’s residents and visitors are enriched through a variety of arts, culture, history, and heritage experiences.
