The Witness: From Racism to an Unlikely Love Story

In Honor Of - MLK Jr.'s Birthday (Jan.16), there will be two performances of "The Witness" which is a two hour drama (with intermission) about a self-confessed, former racist who lived his entire life in St. Augustine. Beauregard Stuart Lee, interviewed by MJ Townes, speaks of the racist thuggery in which he participated as a young man. The play has woven throughout, the stories of MLK, Rosa Parks, Andrew Young, Dr. Robert Hayling, Medgar Evers, and more.
