St. Augustine Archaeological Association Monthly Meeting & Lecture

The St. Augustine Archaeological Association (SAAA) will continue its monthly lecture series with a talk given by Charlie Hall on her field school experience at Fort Mose and her current academic work on African American history in Florida.

Ms. Hall, a senior in Flagler College’s Anthropology program, is one of the first recipients of the SAAA’s Eugene Lyon Education Fund which was able to fund her participation in the 2022 FAS professional meeting as well as an internship focused at Fort Mose, resulting in this presentation among other things.  Her future goals include museum work and repatriations, epidemiology and health, and oral histories.

The presentation will be in the Solarium at Flagler College.  Doors open at 6:30 for the 7PM presentation.  There will be someone present in the lobby to direct you to the correct elevator.  Come early and enjoy the view from atop the grand Ponce de Leon Hotel.
