St. Johns County Bartram Living History Festival

Join St. Johns County Parks & Rec for historical interpretive performances of William Bartram and Sawgrass, a Native American performer, local vendors, educators, musicians, and tours of the Harris-Bennett House.

This annual event celebrates William Bartram, who extensively explored the St. Johns River in the late 18th Century.

On the 250th anniversary of William Bartram’s visit to Florida, learn about Floridian history from 1740 to the present day with historical demonstrations, crafts for the kids, guided tours, and more! For more info, contact Kelly Ussia at kussia@sjcfl.us

Attendees may catch shuttles from Hickory Creek Elementary (235 Hickory Creek Trail, St. Johns). Shuttles will transport attendees to and from Alpine Groves Park starting at 9:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
