The Minorcan Experience hosts free events throughout March to celebrate St. Augustine’s Minorcan heritage.
Step back in time with Andres Pacetti at Ximenez-Fatio House on Saturday, March 9th at 2 PM.
Learn about life in the 18th century with topics including:
- The Minorcan journey from the Mediterranean to St. Augustine
- Living in a British stronghold during the American Revolution
- His duties as Barber Surgeon and working in the Spanish Military Hospital
- Flourishing Minorcan culture during the 2nd Spanish Period
- Homes and buildings constructed by Minorcans that can be seen today
