Art Tour to DeLand

Nicknamed the “Athens of Florida,” the city of DeLand is home to Greco-roman columns, stately red brick buildings, and magnificent oaks exuding the aura of a quaint new England college town.  DeLand is also home to Florida’s oldest college, Stetson University.  The DeLand Art Tour will include a guided tour of both locations of the Museum of Art DeLand.  You will also take a guided tour of the richly detailed “Gilded Age” estate of John B. Stetson.  The beautiful Stetson Mansion was the first luxury home and the grandest home ever built in Florida during the 19th century.  You’ll be captivated by the unusual and eclectic architecture and elegant details of this home.
