Evening of Arias: Con Amore

On February 27, First Coast Opera will host its annual Gala and Silent Auction at the Marsh Creek Country Club from 5-8 PM. The event includes food and music, featuring mezzo-soprano Victoria Isernia and baritone John Tibbetts performing a selection of romantic songs and arias.

Guests will be welcomed with a champagne toast, then enjoy an evening of live performances, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.

ARTIST BIOS

John Tibbetts, Baritone
Cited for his “unexpectedly rich voice” and “reverberating tones” by the Palm Beach Post, John Tibbetts is accomplished on the recital, concert, and operatic stage. The artist “worthy of mention” (OPERA Magazine) makes his international operatic and film debut in the 2021-22 season playing the role of Adam in Edwin Huizinga’s Angel with Toronto’s Opera Atelier.

Victoria Isernia, Mezzo-Soprano
Known for her sultry Mezzo voice, and comedic timing, Victoria Isernia has been hailed as “The Carol Burnett of Opera.” Equally at home on the opera stage as the musical theater stage, her credits include a versatile mix of both.
