"Intro to Water Soluble Oils" With Linda Holmes

A 3 hour workshop exploring water soluble oil paints..with only 3 primary colors plus white, water soluble medium or linseed, we'll mix a palette of hues to paint on gesso board. The workshop objective is to provide an option for those who want to use oils but wish to avoid using turpenoid or similar. They are interchangeable with regular oils though once mixed over 10% , can no longer be cleaned with water. We'll discuss color theory, how to use warm and cool colors, composition and have fun using some techniques with this alternative oil paint. Your included kit has 4 tubes of high quality paint, glass palette for mixing, a brush, palette knife, gesso board and linseed oil , so all you need to do is register and come to the workshop. Wear an apron or old shirt to protect your clothes and prepare to have fun and learn stuff, too!
