Open membership for NEWLY forming Saint Augustine Community Band

The newly formed Saint Augustine Community Band is announcing an Open Membership call to all who play an instrument and want to be a part of this historic band that has been dormant for nearly 75 years.  The goal is to put together a fine quality concert band that will mature and progress as the time together continues.  Their conductor is Mr. Geoffrey S. Magnani who is a retired band director, adjudicator and clinician for 35 years who hails from The Crane School of Music and Ithaca College in New York State.  The band will be rehearsing on Monday nights from 7-9pm at the Saint Augustine High School of the Performing Art.  Rehearsals begin on Monday, September 14th.  At this juncture all interested instrumentalists (including String Bass) may participate.  If you loved playing your instrument(s) and miss playing, this is the solution for you!  We are accepting musicians from high school age and above.
