Two act, two hour drama in which nine people whose lives were tragically effected by gun violence tell their stories. A work of fiction that examines our national shame. Both sides of gun debate presented.
In Chicago, at WFIB, TV impresario Joan Blake, with husband Bill, make a tape for PBS in which the gun debate rages. Nine people who have suffered losses are interviewed. The Blakes are on opposite ends of the debate spectrum and their bantering makes for interesting and, at times, tragic theater. Playwright and actor Lee Weaver plays all ten roles with quick 30 second costume changes.
