A self-confessed former racist, raised in St. Augustine speaks of the racist thuggery in which he participated during the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement, and the transformation that he witnessed.
In "The Witness" you meet Beauregard Stuart Lee, a self-confessed, former racist. He is interviewed by MJ Townes (Nanette Weaver), for a TV Documentary. During the interview he will speak of the many acts of racist thuggery in which he participated in St. Augustine FL. Many do not know that St. Augustine (the only city in Florida where Dr. King was arrested) was one of the most violent cities in the nation, during the Civil Rights struggle of the 1960s.
