Evenings on Airstream Row: Tale Tellers of St. Augustine in “Spanish Dons, English Pirates, and Florida Crackers

Featured Tellers: Drew Sappington and Wayne Sims

Two well-seasoned and nationally-acclaimed storytellers, Drew Sappington and Wayne Sims perform humorous but true stories from St. Augustine’s history. Fascinating tales include: Indians attacks on pirates to rescue cowboys, potty-mouthed governor bluffing buccaneers, fake ear starts a war, pirate helps build fort after his execution, Ralph Waldo Emerson and the barking Methodists, and single boat attack pirate fleet.

2021 will see several small entertainment events in Vilano Beach at Airstream Row where performance attendance is limited and outdoors, requiring social distancing and masks.

$10 donation supports expanding the art of storytelling in the community.
