Born and raised in Maryland, Sam Shin is a wandering cellist who has made St. Augustine his home base for musicmaking since 2017. Sam’s musical passion is fueled primarily through improvisation, drawing from his classically trained background and 20+ years of experience honing the flexibility to play by ear in various other styles of music. Whether solo or in collaboration with other musicians, Sam plays his cello from the heart and provides the listener with a unique aural experience each time.
