    Kate Gardiner
    Visual Arts: Photography
Kate graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 with a BA in Media Arts. She worked her way east from Arizona with newspaper internships in Iowa and Rhode Island before landing as a full-time photojournalist for The Day, a regional daily newspaper based in New London, Conn. While there, she met Jason, a sports writer at the paper and the two were married in Sept 2007. Soon after, the pair jumped ship from journalism, moving south to St. Augustine, Fl where Jason took a job in public relations and Kate began shooting weddings and portraits full-time. Kate is the primary photographer, creative director and photography guru at KGP. While Jason’s day job has made it tough to be a part of the day-to-day operations, he still lends a hand from time to time. Kate’s team of assistants and second photographers have picked where he left off and all of them would love to be a part of your event or photograph your family!

  • Elizabeth Garrett
    Elizabeth Garrett
    Visual Arts: Painting
Florida Encaustic Artist Elizabeth Garrett is a Florida based artist creating paintings inspired by the landscape and mood of the ocean and the abundant local flora. Drawn to art her entire life, and by way of her self-directed art education, Elizabeth has honed her skills over the last 20 years via reading, research and workshops, trial and error, and experimentation and discovery. Encaustics became one of her mediums in 2014 after seeing an encaustic artist demonstration at a Scottsdale, AZ gallery walk event. Leaving the corporate world in mid-2016, Elizabeth set on an expedition to explore art full-time, as a daily practice, as the, this-is-what-I-do when she’s asked “what do you do for a living?” Having lived at or near the water for many years, the colors, landscape and mood of the beach, ocean, inter-coastal waterways and marshes have greatly influenced her work. Additionally, Elizabeth has been a collector of flowers, leaves and seeds for many years and also incorporates these items into her encaustic and acrylic mixed media paintings to showcase their beauty and simplicity. With the full support of her husband and chief cradled-birch-panel-maker, she works from her home studio in Palm Coast, Florida.  Her paintings can be found in private collections in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Texas and most recently, Nottingham, England.

  • Pamela Geiger
    Pamela Geiger
    Visual Arts: Painting
Mezmerized always by the beauty in Nature, I paint in oil on lasting linen canvas, with the aim of recording for the future the raw beauty of our country. Mostly Florida, for this is where I live and love the tropical foliage. History has left its mark, through buildings and other man-made things. Though lovely and impressive, these too are temporary. And also among my favorites to paint. Sometimes it seems that these cypress bogs, oak hammocks, marshes, Wild Oat dunes, which for eons have been home to the critters will not survive the onslought of man. I will at least record them on my canvasses.
  • Lauren Gilliam
    Lauren Gilliam
    Music; Music: Instrumental; Music: Vocal
St. Augustine, Florida’s finest at its best, Lauren Gilliam truly is an innovative and one-of-a-kind musician. Growing up influenced by the vocal harmonies of church congregations, Lauren took to singing at an early age, gaining a defined taste for harmonic singing. Lauren makes up one-half of the WillowWacks, her husband and wife folk duo, two-thirds of The Young Step, her alter-ego David Bowie-inspired rock band, and one half of the local rock/folk duo Big Dog Mama, with St. Augustine staple Chelsea Saddler. Lauren is certainly as diverse musically as her influences, which includes everyone from the late, great Aretha Franklin to the more contemporary electronic-based Sylvan Esso. Packing an arsenal of folk, jazz, Americana, pop, rock, and blues tunes, Lauren’s setlist leaves one wondering what songs she might not know. Her on-stage demeanor is ever-shifting to attune to the setting of the performance, the energy of the room, and her audience members themselves. Extremely poignant and delivery focused, Lauren has gained a reputation among local musicians for her unmistakable charm and ability to adapt to any musical setting.
