Victoria Nations writes Gothic and weird horror about creatures with emotional baggage. Her work often features liminal wild areas, and she centers queer characters across the gender spectrum.

Victoria’s fiction has appeared in several anthologies and magazines, including Dark Matter Magazine, “Dangerous Waters: Deadly Women of the Sea,” and “Fish Gather to Listen.”  Her poetry has appeared in Magpie Messenger Literary Journal, two Horror Writers Association poetry showcases, and the Bram Stoker Award-nominated “Mother: Tales of Love and Terror.” Her poem, “Bury Me Beneath Fallen Stars” was nominated for a Dwarf Stars Award by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Poetry Association.
